When we originally launched in 2003, our service was focused exclusively on eBay auctions. Over the years, our customers asked us to support more platforms, so we expanded beyond eBay to work with Shopify, blogs, forums, and anywhere you can paste HTML code.

The name "AuctionPlayer" no longer captured the full scope of what we offer, so we rebranded to eCommercePlayer to better represent our mission: providing simple, reliable media players for all of your e-commerce listings.
