The fact is that our service is no longer tied down to eBay auctions, so we needed to change the name to reflect the scope of what our service is all about. While eCommercePlayer is still a very powerful eBay audio and video hosting solution, our members are now free to use our service anywhere on the internet! eCommercePlayer was originally designed and developed by eBay sellers, for eBay sellers. Our initial release, called AuctionPlayer, has been online and serving its members since 2003 and has been used in over 1 million eBay listings. Since starting the AuctionPlayer service, we have studied what customers love (and don't love) about our service and used all of this experience while designing eCommercePlayer, our next generation audio and video hosting solution.
